14 Woe unto the bishops of My church who deny the poor, for they shall be accountable before Me when they stand before My judgment, and unless they speedily repent they shall be cast off.
2 Let those who have much wealth impart unto the church their monies to purchase an inheritance in Zion; and let those who have much wealth impart it unto the poor so that they may also obtain equal inheritance in Zion, for thus it behooveth Me.
. . .
8 However, widows and those destitute and who are living My commandments are exempt, and may receive an inheritance.
Even so, Amen.
21 Consider also the welfare program ye have set up to take care of the poor among you, which ye pride yourself in and set before the world as a light, and which ye boast of your righteousness in: it is before My face an abomination, for it abaseth the poor and exalteth the rich.
22 For ye claim ye make it so that the rich participate in it to the same extent as the poor. But ye know that this is not true, for ye know that the poor participate in it to a far greater extent than the rich, for the poor help the poor, and thus it has been from the beginning.
. . .
30 But ye cry out, "We look after our Poor!" I say unto you, ye are whited sepulchers full of dead men's bones.
31 Do ye take your brother's widow to wife to raise up a righteous generation unto him? I say unto you that ye do not! Ye do not this, not because the law forbids you to do it, for I have caused that the laws of this land in these matters are of none effect and neither can they bind thee, but ye keep not these commandments because ye want to appear before the world as righteous and honorable men.
. . .
35 I say unto you, this law I revoke not and never can revoke, for I am a just God and honor the widow and the orphan and the destitute.
6 For if ye make a gift unto Me saith the LORD, ye shall give it unto the widow and destitute, that their cry not be unto Me continually.
. . .
14 And when ye give gifts, ye shall give to the poor, the widow, and the destitute and not to one another.
15 For a gift given to him that hath no need corrupteth the soul, for no man should receive unto himself gifts for that which he hath not worked, for such gifts corrupt the soul.
23 I covenant also that I will help the destitute and needy, the deformed and the cripple, the widowed and the orphaned; that I will look after my own first and others that need my help second.
14 Thus I give unto thee poverty that ye learn to be frugal and learn to use that which is given unto thee in the right manner and with wisdom.
15 For as ye are now experiencing poverty and are being sustained, partly by the grains from Canada, so also shall those who hear My voice or My people be sustained when the calamities come upon the nations.
Even so, Amen.
